Well here we are, about a week after "Awakening Weak", and the burning question still stands:  Have you been aroused out of your spiritual slumber only to find out you are the same person you were when you dozed off to sleep?  It's one thing to know what made us doze off in the first place, but if we aren't doing anything to keep us from dozing back off, we are none the better.  If we are the same "ole" christian that we were before "Awakening Weak", then we are not any closer to being what God wants us to be and doing what he wants us to do.  The church has been turning inward for decades here in America and we are paying the price for focusing more on our "holy huddles" rather than sharing the love of Christ with a lost and dying world.  What is the price?  Losing opportunity to reach out to lost souls.  We are more worried about ourselves than those that are dying and going to hell.  We are more concerned with coming to church and consuming rather than contributing.  We are to be building the Kingdom.  Let's quit worrying about the color of the carpet, whether we sing hymns or contemporary, and what Sister Susie and Brother Bob are wearing and worry about whether we are going out to all the world and making disciples!!  Love God and love each other!!
